This policy describes information handled through the SafeLoc website, contact form, and CAM Protocol enterprise API.
CAM Protocol Enterprise API
CAM processes governance metadata only, including action type, actor identity, approval and veto events, and timestamps. SafeLoc never stores the governed payload, meaning the sensitive data or content involved in an action.
Contact Form
If you contact us, we use the name, email address, company, topic, and message you submit to respond to your inquiry. Contact submissions are stored in a PostgreSQL database and sent through Resend for email delivery. The form may handle IP address and user-agent information as spam-prevention metadata. We do not sell this information.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for cookie-free aggregate analytics. SafeLoc does not use analytics for advertising.
Security and Retention
Governance metadata and contact records may be retained for operational, audit, support, and security purposes. Contact data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Encryption at rest is managed by the infrastructure provider. The contact form may handle limited IP address and user-agent information as spam-prevention metadata.
Historical Consumer Location Service
SafeLoc previously operated a consumer location-sharing product. The historical consumer service processed location information during approved requests and was designed to avoid continuous location tracking. This description applies to that past product and is separate from the enterprise API described above.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically as the SafeLoc platform evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
